Today's Idolatry

Today’s Idolatry - Idolatry is placing anything ahead of God.  We must ask ourselves; do we commit Idolatry?  Though we do not sacrifice food to idols today, some of us do place things ahead of God. We sacrifice our time, money, and resources to things, like our homes, jobs, possessions, money, titles, cars, people, and our children instead of God.  We must look at the things we place ahead of God, he is a jealous God.  Though we are under grace, the Lord plans to remove his grace, so judgment can take place. We will have to give an account of our lives, and the things we have done. Did we keep God first in our lives, placing nothing before him?
