God's In Control

• God’s In Control – is a teaching to get us to realize that we are not in control; we must follow the Lord who has all power and authority. We must look within ourselves, be truthful about our desires, about what we think of ourselves, and how we try to control life decisions and situations. Who is really making decisions, is it us or God? To say we are following the Lord means Christ Jesus is in control of our lives. We must truly give ourselves away to God, submit ourselves to the Lord, to his leadership and his will for our life. We must be willing to surrender ourselves to God, who will give us our portion to manage. If we manage it will, go will cause our portion to increase. This is what it means to follow Jesus, and let the Lord be in control of our lives so we can live content, and at peace because God is in control. He will not take control from us, we have free will, but if we give ourselves to God, the Lord will lead, guide, protect, love, and teach us.

Sources Of Splendor

• Sources Of Splendor – is about recognizing the splendor of Satan, compared to the wonderful splendor of God and our Lord Christ Jesus. As Christians, we need to be able to tell the difference between splendor and prosperity from Satan, and splendor and prosperity from God? We must be very careful of Satan’s splendor, it creates sinful desires that feeds directly into our heart, actions, and motives, it cost us eternal life with God. Satan splendor is very difficult for us to detect, but just like Christ Jesus did, we must know the difference. We have to know what Satan is offering us and what God is offering. The source of our splendor must come from God; we cannot have anything to do with splendor from Satan because it will cause selfishness in us, create pride in us, and have us serving money and not God. Splendor from God, will bring us peace, joy, and happiness.

 

 

God Is Able

• God Is Able – is about us coming to know and believe that God is able to do all things. The Lord is not limited by anything; nothing can stand in God’s Way. We have to believe, we cannot decide that God is not able; therefore, we must do the work ourselves. The Lord has to become more, and we must become less. We have to align ourselves with God’s Will and take up our cross and follow Jesus because he is able to save, not us. We can nothing without the Lord; we need to trust that God is Able. The Lord is able to do more than we can imagine. He is able to heal all wounds, he is able to raise the dead, he is able to provide a way, and Christ is able to judge God’s people. God is able. We must come to depend on God, and not ourselves.

 

 

The Spirit Of The Lord

• The Spirit Of The Lord – is a teaching about living with the Spirit of God within us. A gentle and quiet spirit, where God is able to live and abide in us. As we become mature in the Lord, we have to make sure there is no conflicts within our spirit. We have to be careful; we can’t live our lives while grieving the Spirit of God. Our spirit has to mature so we can handle the world and everything that comes against us, while not pushing away the Spirit of the Lord. We need the Spirit living on the inside of us, training us up in the ways of God. We must allow the work of the Holy Spirit to be complete in us, it must be able to completely transform our thinking, our beliefs, our desires, and our action so what we do is pleasing to God.   

 

 

Living In The Light

• Living In The Light – is a teaching about the importance of us living in the light Chris Jesus. It’s the difference between us experiencing the power of Christ’s Light in our lives as we pass by, on occasions, compared to us living in the light of Christ where everything is exposed day and night. It took me sometime to learn this from the Lord. I felt his presence, I heard his voice, I felt his hand upon me. But I walked in the light of Christ and in darkness to hide my secrets. But we can’t be a mature Christian walking this way. The Lord wants us to live in his light, he wants everything exposed, nothing hidden in us. Wow Lord, you are asking for us to climb and live at a high standard in you. You are holy, and you are calling us into holiness, which can only come by us living in the Light of Christ day and night.

 

 

Nothing Too Hard For God

• Nothing Is Too Hard For God– is a teaching about placing all our trust in the Lord, believing that nothing in this world is too hard for God. There is no sickness too hard for God, there is no financial problem too hard for God. There is no relationship problem too hard for God. God is able to handle every small and great problem that comes our way, all we have to do is take it to the Lord in prayer, live by faith, and trust in God’s Power and Authority. We have inabilities that prevents us from resolving our issues, but Jesus is our way maker, he is our problem solver, he is our Savior, our Redeemer. Nothing is too hard for God.

 

 

God's Power and Authority

• God’s Power and Authority – is a teaching about living under the power and authority of God that is in Christ Jesus. Is living under God’s power and authority hard for us to achieve? Will it cause us to suffer, thus causing us to deny the Lord? What happens when we reject God’s power and authority? This teaching is to help address these questions and more. For us to be able to tap into the power and authority of God, we have to be closely connected to Christ. It’s through us having a tight connection with Christ and living our lives through him that he grants us power and authority to do God’s Will and help God’s people. God’s power and authority is not so we can get rich, be famous, write books, and live a life of luxury. God uses his power and authority to carry out his plan of salvation for mankind.

 

 

Satan's Work

• Satan’s Work – is a teaching about the work Satan is doing to turn us away from God. He is a liar and father of lies, he works to keep us from walking faithfully with Christ Jesus. He desires to be God, to get us to bow down to him, like he offered Christ Jesus. We have to be careful, so we are not enticed with what Satan is offering. He has powerful schemes and works that can cause us to turn away from our calling, to change God’s plan for our lives, and have us seeking desires of our sinful nature. In these last days, he is turning up the heat, he is pressing hard, and many are being deceived. We must resist, we must stay with God’s Word, we must remain in Christ Jesus and not be drawn away. Narrow is the road into God’s Kingdom, many will not make it in. We must be aware of the works of Satan and its impact on our lives, our families, our churches, and our communities.

 

 

Entertaining Evil

• Entertaining Evil – is a teaching about looking at the struggles we are having in letting go of sin. While drawing closer to God, we continue to entertain evil. This is what is causing us problems when it comes to living right before God. The Lord wants us to become like him in every way, but we keep entertaining evil which produces sin in us. God’s Word says those who have clean hands and a pure heart will be able to stand. We can’t keep entertaining evil on our phones, with our T.V.’s, behind closed doors, in secret, in the dark places we entertain. Do not touch, do not handle, do no taste, it will continue to produce sin in us. Lord you said if we pray and have faith, you will deliver us from the evil one, here we stand to be delivered from evil.      

 

 

God's Counsel

• God’s Counsel – is a teaching about seeking God’s Counsel. Many of us spend time praising and worshiping God, we also pray for the Lord’s help and for deliverance. We need to also seek God’s Counsel so we stop making mistakes and stop making bad decisions that impact our relationship with God and others. We need God’s Counsel so our plans are in-line with God’s Plans, so how we walk, talk, and operate in this life is pleasing to God. We don’t want to be misled as we worship and praise the Lord, we need everything to be clear to us, so we walk with godly understand and counsel`

No One Greater

• No One Greater – is a teaching about knowing who is greater, and who can do all things. We put a lot of trust in ourselves and in others, but there is only one who can bring us through it all, and that’s God. There is no one greater than the Lord, no one can do the things he can do. No one can help us escape troubles and struggles of this world, but God. We must put this at the center of our faith, there is no one greater than God. No can save us, our children, or our family members but the Lord. He is greater than all.  

Child Of God

• Child Of God – is a teaching about what the Lord requires for us to become a Child of God. God’s Words says that a judgement is coming, and Christ will set on his throne and open up the Book of Life and review our life and our deeds and determine whose child we really are. It matters how we live today, it matters how we treat each other, it’s all being written down. Are we a true Child of God? We must be willing to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, so we have confidence that we will receive honor and enter into God’s Kingdom. The Lord has called us to live separated and differently than this world, but are we willing to walk as a Child of God? Whose child are we?

Calling On Jesus

 

• Calling on Jesus – is a teaching about learning to call on the name of Jesus in a way where our prayers are answered, and we get powerful results. We call on the name of Jesus for many reasons, praying and hoping that the Lord will answer our prayers. God’s Word is clear, those whose walk is upright, those who have a humble spiritual, those who love the Lord and do his Will, will receive and hear from the Lord. When we call on the Lord, does it bring the results we are expecting? If not, do you know the reason the Lord is not answering your call? If we want results then it matters how we walk, and the reason we are seeking things through prayer. The problem with getting our prayers answered is not with God, the problem resides with us.

An Unlimited God

• An Unlimited God – is a teaching about how we serve and worship a God that has no limits. Mankind has many limitations, but God the Father and Christ Jesus have no limits. God wisdom and power are without limitations. We have a spiritual source for us to connect with so we can experience the unlimited power of God. If we want to get beyond our fears, worries, and limitations then we have to surrender our lives, so we can live under the power of an unlimited God, which no one can stop. Gods has no limitations, he is not limited in healing us, he is not limited in providing for us, he is not limited in lifting up our spirit, and he is not limited in saving us. He is An unlimited God

Living Holy

• Living Holy – is about us understanding what God is calling us into. We have many desires: desire for money, desire for healing, desire for fame, and desire for pleasure. We have a desire for many things in this world, but the question is what is God calling us into? All we hear today is about how God is calling us to prosperity, calling us to live lives of plenty. But is that really what God is calling us into? We need to be clear based on God’s Word what we are being called into, for it is clear that God who is a Holy God is calling us into holiness. For God says that he is Holy, and we must become Holy. God has set a high standard on his people regarding how we must live, and he placed his Son before us so we can achieve holiness through Christ. If we desire to be all that we can be, then we need to mature and strive to live a holy life before God so we can achieve all things through Christ Jesus, and so God makes our name great.

Learning To Care

• Learning To Care – is about us developing a caring heart. Once we allow the Lord to change our hearts, working to be a spiritual minded person, we can really become a loving and caring person. Unfortunately, we have been taught to care for ourselves more than caring for others, or even caring for God. We have to allow the Lord to teach us how to love and care for others, which only happens when the Lord is able to reshape our heart and mind. Our heart will be full of love and care for others and not for ourselves. Our mind will be focused on God’s Will, and not our own. Our actions of caring will not be covered up with our motives of self, we will truly care, we will truly love others, even if there is nothing in it for us. For all glory belongs to God, and he cares about his people.

Being Purified

• Being Purified – is about us understanding the need to be purified by the Lord. God wants you and I purified, because he knows we live in a world full of sin. We come to the Lord asking him to wipe away our sins and because of his faithfulness he forgives us. The sooner you and I can learn to walk in purification and sanctification of God the Father through Christ Jesus the harder it will be for us to turn from the Lord and stain ourselves with sin again and again. This calls for maturity in Christ so we are made whole in the Lord, able to take on the full measure of Christ Jesus. Able to remain purified before the Lord, able to serve him with a pure heart, because we walk before him with clean hands and a pure heart. We have been set apart and purified by the blood of Jesus

A LIfe Of Salvation - Part II

• Life of Salvation - Part II – this is the second part of a two part series in teaching what it means to live a Life of Salvation. Salvation is one of the reason we surrendered our lives to Christ, it contains promises God said he would grant us if we are faithful, endure, and remain obedient to his Word, Son, and Spirit. As we exercise and workout our salvation, we need to live a life worthy of God’s Salvation. Which means we have to reach the point of maturity that God’s Word teaches and inspires us to strive to achieve while in this life.  It’s a life of eternity with God, experiencing his fullness in all of his glory. Salvation is worth more than prosperity and riches, there is no human value we can place on it. It is the ultimate reward God is offering us through Christ Jesus.

Life of Salvation - Part I

• Life of Salvation - Part I – this is the first part of a two part series in teaching what it means to live a Life of Salvation. What should be different in our lives if we are walking in God’s Salvation? Can we lose our salvation, and how do we maintain our salvation? Salvation is a very interesting teaching, because many of us think we can choose salvation later in life, while living as we please for the moment. We like to put off salvation, but we don’t know the hour or the day, therefore salvation is something each one of us needs to be walking in today.

God Cares

• God Cares – Is a teaching about knowing that God cares for you and I no matter what we are going through, or what difficulty experience we are having in life. We will all be tested, so going through tough times is not a sign that God does not care for us. In fact, it’s when we call on his name in the middle of our tough times that he indeed demonstrates just how great his love is, and how much he cares for those who love him and walk upright before him. Through his love he sustains us, forgives us, shows us mercy, and grants us more grace. God cares more that we could ever imagine, through the death and life of his Son, the loving and caring ways of God was shown to us all.
