Hating What God Hates

·     Hating What God Hates – is a teaching to encourage us as believers to go furter in our walk with the Lord. We are settling these days with worldly preaching and teaching. We have to get back to the Word of God, which teaching us about the things that God both hates and loves. We are called to become like Christ Jesus, therefore we have to learn to hate the things that God hates and finds detestable, even if those things are found in us. It’s the only way the blood of Christ Jesus can sanctify and purify us to be worthy of entering the kingdom of God.   

 

Effects Of Doubt And Unbelief

·    Doubt and Unbelief – is a teaching to help us with our struggle with doubt and unbelief in our Faith. We must overcome all doubt and unbelief so our faith is not weak, but strong. We have to allow the Holy Spirit examine all the different areas of our faith so we are aware of areas in our faith that has doubt and unbelief in it. Because where there is doubt and unbelief, this is no faith.

Willingness To Surrender

·    Willingness To Surrender – is a teaching to about us being willing to surrender our whole self to God. We struggle surrendering ourselves to God, we want to be in control, to have a say. But we can’t surrender just a part of ourselves and serve God. Just giving part of ourselves to God won’t due. We must be willing to totally surrender ourselves to God; all our desires, our being, our thoughts, our will, and our purpose so we can carry out God’s Purpose, Will, and Ways

God Has Spoken

·    God Has Spoken – is a teaching to help us establish our faith in the Word of God. We need the Word to guide our feet, to nourish our body, and to keep our mind right. We need to feed God’s Word into our ears, read it with our eyes, and take it in as nourishment for our soul, so it’s alive within us. Christ Jesus uses the Word of God to save us, to extend us a life line when we are in trouble and need to be saved.  

Thankful and Blessed

·    Thankful and Blessed – This is a teaching about how we need to always be thankful for the things the Lord has done for us. Unfortunately, many of us have not been properly taught about the real blessings of God. We measure God’s blessings from what we get from the world, but true blessings are found in Christ Jesus  

The Evidence

·       Evidence – As we work on becoming mature, we have to demonstrate that there is evidence of our maturity.  This is not about us claiming or declaring that there is evidence, this is about us living and practicing our faith so it is self-evident that we have been changed.  Not only does there have be evidence, but there must be proof that the goodness of the Lord is present in our lives every day.

Choosing To Sin

·    Choosing To Sin – After we have spent all this time coming to know the Lord, what is our thinking regard our sin. Do we still believe sin is something you and I can never escape, we can never really put it to death? Before we knew the Lord, doing sin was not really a choice for us. But now that we have the Lord, and the spirit of the Lord lives in us, now we have to choose to do sin

To Know God

·    To Know God– Many of us come to know of God by our parents making us attend church, we learned a few things about God. Was our upbringing enough for us to know God?  There is a difference between knowing of God and to know God. When we come to know God for ourselves, we will develop a fear and love for God. Now we know what God can do, and we want to bypass the Lord having to disciple and correct us. Now we know that to know God, makes us a friend of God.

Spiritual Transformation

·    Spiritual Transformation – No matter how we look at it, coming to Christ Jesus is going to require that we change.  Many of us are willing to change some for the Lord. But for us to be spiritually transformed into the likeness of Christ, we have to allow the Lord to change any and everything about us. Our spirit must change, our beliefs must change, our ways must change, and our soul must change. Everything must change for us to be like Christ.   

Not Ashamed

• Not Ashamed – After the Lord has taught us, touched our lives, it’s time for us to stand up for God. We cannot hide that we are not just a believer, we are a servant of God, called to do the Will of God. We cannot be ashamed of the Lord before anyone, not to our friends, not to our co-workers, not to our family, not to those we want to know. We don’t want Christ to be ashamed of us before the Father

Denying God

·    Denying God – is a teaching about looking at different areas in our lives were we have chosen to deny God.  Though we have struggles in living in a world that is totally against God’s way of Living that does not give us excuses for not living as God has called us to live. As Christians we have to deny this world’s pressures, and stand on our faith in God. Not denying God, but denying ourselves, denying this world and all its evil ways

God Remains The Same

·    God Remains The Same – is a teaching about knowing that God the Father and our Lord Christ Jesus will always remain the same. This is where our confidence in the Lord must grow. If we know that God will remain the same, then we can work on changing to become like the Lord in every way.  We can learn how to truly depend on the Lord, knowing that he is “Solid As A Rock”.

Being Attacked

·    Being Attacked – is a teaching about recognizing that more than anyone else, those who are seeking the Lord will be under constant attack from the devil and others. We must learn how to stay before the Lord, so he places his loving wings of protection around us, so we can be tested without falling away. We all will have trouble, but trouble can’t keep us from the Lord. We don’t fight our own battles, the Lord fights for us, the Lord is on our side; we will not be defeated. No one or nothing can harm us, if we stay faithful.

Help From The Lord

·    Help From The Lord – is a teaching about knowing how to receive help from the Lord. Many times it’s not what’s on the outside that is preventing the Lord from helping us, its pride and arrogance that is on the inside that is keeping the Lord’s hand away. We must seek help from the Lord by approaching the Lord in humility and prayer. Building up confidence that all our help comes from the Lord, we don’t need any solution that does not come from God

God's Power And Authority

·    God’s Power and Authority – is a teaching about living under the power and authority of God. Is living under God’s power and authority hard for us to achieve? Will it cause us to suffer, thus causing us to deny the Lord? What happens when we reject God’s power and authority? We must come to believe in the awesome power and authority of God to protect us, to shield us, to lift us up.

The Ways Of God

·    The Ways Of God – is a teaching about coming to know the ways of God. To know what it means for us to walk in the ways of God.  To understand how we struggle to keep in step with the Lord’s Spirit. To know what God expects from us, so we can always walk in his ways. What are the benefits of walking in the ways of God?

Gaining Godly Understanding

·    Gaining Godly Understanding – is a teaching about knowing what it means to live without and to live with God’s understanding.  What do we have to do so we gain godly understanding, so we can receive and walk in the ways of God? Why do we need Godly understanding, what will we get from having it.

Counsel Of God

·    The Counsel of God – is a teaching about seeking the counsel of the Lord. We spend most of our time praising and worshiping God, we also pray for the Lord’s help, and for deliverance. But we should also seek the Lord’s counsel, so we can stop making mistakes and bad decisions that impact our relationship with God and others

In Christ Jesus

·    In Christ – is a teaching about living our lives through and in Christ Jesus, we can’t make it without being in Christ.  It’s critical that we see every part of our lives in Christ. In Christ we are fully protected, in Christ we are completely healed, in Christ there is no death, in Christ we have eternal life, in Christ we have joy, in Christ we have peace 

Known By God

·    Known By God – is a teaching about becoming known by God. It’s one thing for us to say we know of the Lord, or to say we know the Word of God, but it’s another thing for God to know us by name.  Being known by God will ensure we receive instructions and guidance from the Lord directly.  Being known by God means we will be taught by the Lord, and receive our life’s assignment from the Lord
